Turner Takes Gold at State Junior Olympics
Kylie Turner, member of the Greene County 4-H Shooting Sports team, placed first in pellet pistol and .22 caliber sport pistol (for the second year running) in the Arkansas State Junior Olympic Pistol Shooting Competition held on January 10-11, 2014 at the C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center.
This competition was sponsored by Arkansas 4-H and USA Shooting Sports.
Kylie has been invited to attend the 2014 USA Shooting National Junior Olympic Shooting Competition to be held at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in April.
Congratulations to Christian Lowman and Kristin Autry for winning a Gold Medal in the District FBLA competition. They will be going to nationals at San Antonio

Congratulations to our own, Chase Atchley, for taking 1st place in the Randolph County Spelling bee.
Because of missing 4 days of school semester tests have been rescheduled for Jan. 16 &17. We will still plan to release at 2:00 p.m. on semester test days.
Seniors, there is a scholarship application available in the office. This is the Earl Collins Memorial Scholarship from the Kiwanis Club. The deadline is November 30.
This is the last week that sophomores will be selling the camel t-shirts that say “What Day Is It.” The shirts are $10 each for small, medium, large, and extra large; $12 f or 2XL, and $13 for 3XL. To get your shirt, see a sophomore, Ms. Stuart, or Ms. Blansett.
Browns will be here November 7th at 9:00 to take orders for Jr. class rings and Sr. graduation supplies.
